Fire fighters in Dumfries were kept busy on Saturday.
They held a car wash to raise funds for the Fire Fighters Charity.
And the steady stream of cars meant their hoses, buckets and sponges saw plenty of action.
In the process, they raised the fantastic total of £1,115.
The Fire Fighters Charity is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year and a number of other car washes are planned across the region over the coming weeks.
They are: March 18: Dalbeattie Fire Station, 10am to 2pm; March 25: Annan Tesco, 10am to 3pm; Castle Douglas Fire Station, 10am to 3pm; Gatehouse car park, 9am to 2pm; Langholm Fire Station, 9.30am to 12.30pm; Moffat Co-op, 10am to 2pm; Newton Stewart Riverside car park, 10am to 4pm; Sunday, April 16: Thornhill Fire Station .
