Dalbeattie fire fighters raise more than £500 with car wash

Firefighters in Dalbeattie got out their buckets and sponges on Saturday.

They washed cars to raise funds for the Fire Fighters Charity, with more than £500 raised.

More car washes will be taking place in the Stewartry this Saturday.

Castle Douglas Fire Station will host one from 10am to 3pm with another at Gatehouse car park from 9am to 2pm.
